Two runners, one race

It’s a rare occasion but we have two runners in the same race today, the Bumper at Market Rasen.

Marg Hodgson’s Dizzy Chief makes her racecourse debut while The 100 Club horse, Yoredoingwell goes for his third race. Good Luck to both and come home safe.

Tragic accident is a timely reminder

Stephen YarboroughToday’s tragic accident at Haydock in which stalls handler Stephen Yarborough suffered fatal injuries, reminds us all of the vital and dangerous work stalls handlers do.

On a daily basis, stalls handlers ensure the safety of horses and riders, they are the unsung heroes of horse racing and without them the sport couldn’t function.

Everyone at Ashgill Racing sends their condolences to Stephen’s family, friends and colleagues.
